Green and Clean Curchorem Campaign
Launched the Harit Curchorem, Swachh Curchorem Campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day under Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi's inspiring "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative[cite: 2]. As part of this campaign, 28,000 saplings were distributed to households across the Curchorem Constituency[cite: 2]. Conducted awareness activities promoting environmental conservation and cleanliness, spreading the message of tree plantation and sustainable practices.
Organization of Sakhi Manch Programme
A special Sakhi Manch programme was organized to mark International Women's Day, featuring activities conducted for women's empowerment & social awareness[cite: 2]. 1,876 women participated enthusiastically in competitions including Folk Dance, Vegetarian Cuisine, Mehendi, and Fati making for women aged 18+[cite: 2]. The event featured special attraction "Chala Hawa Yeu Dya" fame Actress Shreya Bugde[cite: 2]. Winners were presented with attractive prizes including Paithani sarees, refrigerators, washing machines, TVs, and other gifts[cite: 2].
Daily Newspapers Distribution in Schools
Started circulation of Marathi and English newspaper navprabha and the Nav Hind Times across Chorcurem AC schools impacting over 5240 Students to this program[cite: 2]. Promoted a culture of regular reading & intellectual development among students while providing access to current affairs and updated information[cite: 2].
Shri Ram Navami Mahotsav
Successfully organized the Shri Ram Navami Pron Pratishtha Ceremony, conducting religious activities in a devotional atmosphere[cite: 2]. Managed the event efficiently with volunteer support, arranging Mahaprasad and essential facilities for an attendance of over 3,800 devotees[cite: 2].
School Bag Distribution
Distributed school bags to students across the Curchorem Assembly Constituency, Supported students' educational needs and encouraged learning. Fostered enthusiasm and a greater interest in education among students. Over the past two years, 5,000 school bags & 3,000 raincoats were distributed to government and other schools, positively impacting 8,000 students in Curchorem.
Free Cleaning of Drinking Water Wells
Special initiative to ensure access to clean drinking water. Free cleaning of public and private wells in Curchorem, Removal of accumulated sludge and contaminants, Improved water quality and hygiene for residents, Community-focused public health initiative, 184 wells cleaned, providing relief to hundreds of households
Distribution of Cricket Kits to Schools Across Goa
Distributed free cricket kit bags to schools and higher secondary institutions across the state, benefiting over 6,040 students. Launched a special initiative to cultivate interest in sports among students. Promoted sports culture at the grassroots level. Strived to provide equal sporting opportunities to all students.
Snehabandh
Organized the 'Snehabandh' programme on the occasion of Chief Minister shri. Pramod Sawant's birthday, facilitating direct interaction between the Chief Minister and citizens, during which over 5,200 Letters were received and more than 300 citizens personally conveyed their greetings and best wishes. Strengthened communication between citizens and the administration, Thousands of citizens shared greetings through letters, Platform for highlighting public issues and development suggestions, Effective use of social media for wider public participation.
Free DDSSV card renewal services.
Free renewal of old DDSSY cards. Easy and free health service registration for citizens. A special initiative to ensure uninterrupted access to health scheme benefits. Helping hundreds of citizens avail benefits under the DDSSY scheme. Successfully completed the renewal of DDSSY cards for 375 Families so far, with one card issued per family.
Support During COVID-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, led a teleconsultation initiative for Pregnant Women & Postpartum Mothers, mobilizing 70 volunteers to provide healthcare assistance to over 600 beneficiaries. Distributed essential supplies to needy families during lockdown. Helped patients with medical support and hospital coordination. Participated in COVID-19 relief efforts with local administration.
Sports & Recreation Facilities Development
Developed sports and fitness infrastructure under the Shri. Rohan Dessai Initiative in Curchorem Cacora Municipality. Creation of kids' play area for children, Establishment of badminton court for youth, Cricket net practice facility developed, Provision of leather ball cricket facilities
Raincoat Distribution
Initiative conducted through Yuva De Kudchade for the past 8 years, Raincoats distributed to motorcycle pilots, rickshaw drivers, and taxi drivers, Around 200 beneficiaries supported every year, Helped protect workers during monsoon season, Promoted safety and welfare of daily wage transport workers, Consistent social service initiative for community support
Umbrella Distribution
Umbrellas distributed to street vendors across Curchorem constituency, Around 400 vendors benefited from the program, Provided protection from heavy rains and extreme heat, Supported livelihood and working conditions of street vendors, Welfare-focused community support initiative

Umbrellas distributed to Curchorem Cacora Municipal Council (CCMC) staff, Beneficiaries included on-field workers and office staff, Support provided during adverse weather conditions, Helped employees perform duties more comfortably, Welfare initiative focused on staff safety and convenience, Promoted better working conditions during monsoon and heat

RGDI’s Mega Free Medical Camp for the People of Curchorem 2026
A comprehensive free health check-up camp was organised for the people of Curchorem Constituency on 15 August 2026. The camp brought together specialist doctors from cardiology, dermatology, urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, ENT, dentistry and other fields. Residents received free blood tests, ECG, ECHO, eye check-ups and other essential diagnostic services. Free essential medicines and women’s health screenings, including Pap smear and breast cancer screening, were provided to promote preventive healthcare.
Batch 2 of AARI Workshop Successfully Completed
Batch 2 of the AARI Workshop was successfully conducted by Kalaanetra under Kudchade Sakhi Manch, in association with Rohan Gauns Dessai Initiative (RGDI). Held over 24th, 25th & 26th July, the three-day workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation and active involvement of women. The workshop focused on building skills, confidence and self-reliance, while creating opportunities for women to learn and grow.
